At AASRA, we rely on our amazing volunteers to help us care for animals in need. Whether you’re new to volunteering or have some experience, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Here’s what we ask from you:
Help with feeding, grooming, and spending time with animals. They need love, attention, and sometimes just a friendly face to brighten their day.
Keeping our shelters clean and safe is crucial. You’ll help with cleaning kennels, cages, and general areas, ensuring the animals have a comfortable space to live in.
Spread the word! We need volunteers who can raise awareness about our mission, upcoming events, and adoption drives. Sometimes this means handing out flyers, posting on social media, or even talking to people at local events.
Assist us with fundraising efforts, whether it’s helping organize events or reaching out to potential donors. Every bit of support counts towards the animals’ wellbeing.
From adoption events to awareness campaigns, we often host activities to support our cause. Volunteers help us set up, manage booths, and engage with the public during these events.
If you’re comfortable, we may also need help with organizing paperwork, updating our databases, or responding to inquiries from the community.
Sometimes, animals need to be transported for medical appointments or to their forever homes. If you have a vehicle and can help, we’d love your support!
